The Australian has played a significant role in high performance training and development of elite golfers during his time in Asia. Chris has trained for 20 years under one of Australia's most successful and influential golf instructors Gary Edwin, and adopts the Right Sided Swing methodology into his coaching of players at every level of the game.

On the Professional stage, Chris has been fortunate to work alongside more than 20 Tournament Professionals who have plied their trade on all of golf's major professional circuits and have qualified for prestigious events at the highest level of the game including The Open Championship, the US Open, the Australian Open, Aus PGA Championship, Open de France, the World Cup of Golf, the US Women's Open and the HSBC Women's Champions event. As a "Level 5" Accredited Instructor with Gary Edwin Golf Australia, Chris has also been privileged to assist at times in the training of world-class players such as Australia's Peter Senior and New Zealand's Michael Campbell. Chris has been the long-time coach for one of the Asian Tour's best ball-strikers and most consistent performers over the past decade, Scott Barr. 

On the Amateur golf scene, Chris's students have qualified and competed with great success on numerous occasions at international amateur events such as the World Amateur Championship, Asian Amateur, Asia-Pacific Amateur, US Men's & Women's Amateur, Australian, British and South-East Asian Amateur Championships. Chris's amateur students have also been chosen to represent their respective countries at major international team events such as the Eisenhower Trophy, the Bonallack Trophy, the Asian Games, SEA Games, Putra Cup and Queen Sirikit Cup.

Chris's elite amateur students have collected a total of 21 International Amateur Titles and  have qualified to play in a total of 18 Professional Tournaments, including 10 Asian Tour, 3 European Tour, 3 LPGA Tour and 2 Ladies European Tour events. Long-time student Quincy Quek came off a stellar amateur career which culminated in winning the Individual Title at the Putra Cup and then went on to become only the 3rd Singaporean golfer in history to earn his full Asian Tour card through the gruelling Qualifying School.  Another long-time student, Koh Sock Hwee has been one of the region's best female amateurs for several years, recently winning 2 Bronze Medals at the 28th SEA Games. 

In Junior golf, Chris has trained National Junior Open Champions, Asia-Pacific Junior Champions and South-East Asia Junior Champions, US Junior PGA Series Champions, Junior Open Championship, World Junior & World Teen Champions. Locally, Chris's junior students have amassed 42 Inter-School Golf Titles and 4 National Junior Titles. Internationally, Chris's juniors have collected over 100 victories around the world and made 32 appearances at the Callaway Junior World Championships, recording a 3rd place finish on three occasions.

Edgar Oh - youngest winner in the history of the Singapore Open Amateur at 14yrs, youngest to qualify for the Barclays Singapore Open, 2nd youngest at the time to ever qualify to compete on the European Tour, youngest at 14yrs to win Under-21 Division of the Faldo Series Singapore

Marc Ong - youngest to earn selection into SGA National Men's Squad at 14yrs, youngest to qualify for Asian Games & SEA Games, youngest to reach no.1 ranking on SGA Order Of Merit, youngest Singaporean to win WAGR event. Qualified at 16yrs for the Handa Singapore Classic (Asian Tour), Barclays Singapore Open (European Tour) and finished 2nd at the SEM Ventures Classic (SPGA Professional Circuit)

Chris's coaching services have extended well beyond grooming young talent. Others who have benefitted from his coaching instruction include Ministers for Parliament, Television & Radio Personalities, Actors, Models, Rock Stars, Pop Stars and International Sporting Legends.

Chris's golf instruction has appeared on ESPN Star Sports, in Golf Digest, Golf Asia, GolfPunk, Vietnam GOLF and Inside Golf magazines as well as GOLF tabloid publication.
