Marc Ong has fired rounds of 70, 71 to be 3-under par through the first 2 days of competition at the Asia Games, Incheon.
18yr old Ong, who is representing Team Singapore at the 17th edition of the Games is currently in a tie for 13th place in the individual competition alongside young Chinese sensation Guan Tianlang. Marc is 5-strokes outside of a medal position so will need a few more putts to drop in the 3rd round if he is to keep the individual medal hope alive.
In the team competition, Chinese Taipei currently lead the field with Team Singapore sitting in 7th place on 7-under par after 2 rounds. The Singapore Team are represented by national squad members Marc Ong, Jonathan Woo, Gregory Foo and Johnson Poh.
All the best to the boys for the final 2 days play at Dream Park Country Club!
